Situated on the outskirts of Salzburg, Vogelweiderhof-Rooms offers free WiFi in all rooms and free private parking directly next to the Hotel Vogelweiderhof, which is the main building.

The location is good and the room was very spacious for 3-4...

The location is good and the room was very spacious for 3-4 persons. We had a last minute discount so the facilities we had were pretty good for its price.

The apartment room was good but the equipments were not very clean. It's seemed to me that they were not used frequently and so they were not cleaned often. I didn't really want to use the kitchen because of that.

Excellent base for a short visit to beautiful Salzburg.

Only 35 minute walk from centre of Salzburg, or 15 minutes via frequent bus service. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about Salzburg. Fridge and kettle in room a great asset.

Some road noise but all windows double glazed.

Nice staff and AC. There's also a fridge and kettle in the room. Free toothbrush and toothpaste.

Location wasn't great and the room style is a bit weird.

They provide an excellent breakfast and an attentive staff.

They provide an excellent breakfast and an attentive staff. The location is close to the local bus that takes you directly into the heart of the city. It makes it easy to travel into the city without using your own vehicle.

The security for the building could have better. There was no requirement to use an access code or key card to get into the building. I didn't like dropping off the key to a bucket upon check out and not a person.

- Staff was really nice - they kept my reservation even I have no credit card - Clean rooms - Comfortable bed - Close to the bus stop which can take you to the city center - It was near the train station but it was calm, you can not hear any trains when the windows were closed

- Far away from the city center, but, as mentioned, there is a bus stop so it was no big deal - Even they hold my reservation, which was nice, the booking in my account was declined as “canceled” even I was there, so it is not counted as my booking

Alles da, was man braucht. Gute Verkehrsanbindung, Klimaanlage, gutes Frühstück, viele kostenlosen Parkplätze, Bushaltestelle mit Direktverbindung in die Innenstadt in drei Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und, und, und.

Nicht gefallen ist zuviel gesagt. Die Betreiber sind chinesischer Herkunft und vielleicht deshalb ist der Einrichtungsstil etwas zusammengewürfelt bis teilweise kitschig aber das spricht definitiv nicht gegen die Unterkunft. Wer es „gediegen“ mag muss sich was anderes suchen und auf VIELE Vorteile verzichten. Wir fanden es prima

„Das Frühstück war lecker.

Das Frühstück war lecker. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Gleich nach der Buchung wurden wir von Hotel sehr freundlich angeschrieben. Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Zimmer sind sehr klein und waren nicht besonders sauber. Das Hauptgebäude wirkt schon sehr alt. Von unserem Zimmer zum Frühstücksraum musste man raus gehen, bei uns hat es sehr geregnet, das ist etwas unangenehm. Eher teuer für das, was man bekommt.

„Mit unserem Aufenthalt waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Das Hotel liegt etwas unscheinbar in einer touristisch vielleicht nicht so frequentierten Gegend. Die Altstadt mit ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten ist jedoch wunderbar mit dem Bus zu erreichen, welcher wenige Meter vom Hotel weg hält. Tickets kann man in einem Büdchen direkt an der Bushaltestelle kaufen. Besonders postitiv hat uns das reichhaltige Frühstück überrascht, das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Das Personal / die Inhaber waren außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Frühstückszeit fand ich sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hatte gute Tipps.

Der Kühlschrank war nicht vorgekühlt. Tassen und Wasserkocher waren vorhanden, aber kein Tee oder Kaffee. Das die Servicekraft bauchfrei war fand ich unpassend. Meinem Sohn hat dies jedoch gefallen.

„Wir waren sehr zufrieden ️

Das Klimagerät war super! Wir hatten großes Glück mit dem Wetter, immer Sonne und Temperaturen an/über 30 Grad. Da haben wir uns über ein kühles Zimmer sehr gefreut. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank war auch im Zimmer, so mussten wir nicht jeden Tag Essen gehen und hatten kühle Getränke. Das Frühstück ist lecker und vielseitig. Die Zimmer sind sauber, geräumig und phantasievoll eingerichtet. Es gibt eine Bushaltestelle ein paar Meter vom Hotel entfernt, mit der 72 Std.-Salzburgcard, gibt's an der Rezeption auch mit 24/48 Std., waren wir ökologisch und ökonomisch, da Öffis inkludiert, viel unterwegs! Das Personal war sehr freundlich, umsichtig, gut informiert, hilfsbereit,.... Vor der Haustür gibt's ein Büfett-Chinarestaurant, nicht das große kulinarische Highlight, aber für den schnellen großen Hunger eine Alternative. Parkplätze gibt's übrigens direkt am Haus. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Zum Frühstück muss man über den Hof zum Hauptgebäude, das ist aber nur bei ganz schlechtem Wetter oder Schnee evtl. ein Problem.

„Super Lage, sauber und freundlich! Gerne wieder!

Die Lage ist super, die Zimmer geräumig und sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich und entspannt. Abwicklung total unkompliziert und man hat auch Beratung für die Freizeitgestaltung bekommen. Die Nacht war sehr ruhig. Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt. Preis-Leistung sehr gut!

Die Zimmer sehen auf den Fotos sehr prunkvoll aus, sind in Wahrheit allerdings eher etwas abgenutzt und nicht sehr geschmackvoll. War uns aber egal weil sauber und geräumig, sowie ruhig. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt absolut super!

Sehr freundliches Personal, auch Sonderwünsche (vegan) beim Frühstück wurden erfüllt, sehr sauber, wir waren im Nebengebäude und die Zimmer waren neu. Der Fußweg in die Stadt war nicht so toll, weil die Straßen sehr befahren sind, doch die busstation ist gleich heim Hotel Sehr zum empfehlen

„wer viel auswärts ist und nur zum schlafen einen Platz braucht, ist das Hotel ideal.

Personalien waren sehr sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist fast im Stadtzentrum und mit dem Bus gut erreichbar. Das Frühstuck Buffet ist auch gut.

Der Standort ist nicht so schön. Gehweg (sehr schmal) für Kinder gefährlich da viele Autos fahren. Das Zimmer ist meisten bis früh Nachmittag noch nicht gemacht. In der Nacht hört man Leute vom Ausgang heimkommen.

Decent Hotel In Salzburg

They were accommodating and added a bunk bed for my family of four. Host was very attentive. The breakfast was fantastic. We walked to a decent restaurant, about 1 mile away.

The room was very crowded and hot. The wifi was slow. About a mile walk from the train station. Salzburg is expensive in my opinion. Decent hotel.

The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. The location,a little bit far but with bus no.21, no problem to get to the city centre to and fro. The facilities good enough and the room was clean. Recommended for a family with four ppl.

Expensive for this type of Hotel

Please be aware that there is Vogelweiderhof Hotel and Vogelweiderhof rooms, which are the ones shown on the pictures on their web site.

We did not stay at the Vogelweiderhof rooms, they gave us a bigger room at the hotel that is ok, nothing fancy, be aware that their electricity does not support American fixtures, even using converter.

Friendly staff and good breakfast.

A bit overpriced, probably because of the salzburg festival. There was a kettle but not coffee or tea bags. Shower flooded. Instead of soap for hands there was shampoo.
